This activity is one of Anna's favourites. The stitching takes a bit of dexterity and concentration, but it is a nice quiet task that takes a long time to complete.
You need:
- embroidery thread
- thin white cardboard
- large blunt needle (I know they have a special name...I just can't think of it right now!)
- Find the instructions and print these sewing cards from Handmade Charlotte
Here is one Anna completed earlier. (sorry for the bad phone pic!)
This is also a great activity to have ready to go when you would like to have a bit of time to sew. If the kids are doing this they feel like they are joining in with you!
