You've Got Mail!

Yeah...I love that movie. I'm kind of a nerd for sappy rom-coms. Notting Hill may be my all time favourite...

But what I love even more is when the doorbell rings and the parcel delivery man has something for me. I bring it inside and realise it is an international delivery! YES! Happy days.

Now, this post is WAYYY overdue, but back in early September, one such parcel was delivered, and inside was some gorgeous handmade goodies from my bloggy friends Meig & Brandi. They knew that I had participated in a handmade swap earlier in the year and had never received a gift. So they made some things for me and the girls and sent them as a surprise.

Here is what they sent -

This beautiful crocheted cowl that is so snuggly and warm I just love it! I have worn it heaps over spring, as we've had some pretty cold weather here in Melbourne over the last few months. It's only started to warm up now. Don't you love my instagram selfie *ahem*? If you follow me on IG and Twitter you probably recognise it as my avatar pic.

This sweet pouch made from Bonnie's fabulous Bella Pouch pattern. Brandi used some handprinted fabric she received in a swap - love those cute clouds!

And for my two girls they made these adorable Panda hats! Anna loves hers and wore it a lot before the weather warmed up. Lucy's is a bit big for her at the moment but it will be perfect for the next few winters.
