Things To Make

I was considering reorganising my Pinterest boards the other day, and I opened up my Things to Make board. WHAT?? Apparently 219 people follow this board! I get my Pinterest notification emails, but I never imagined that so many people would be interested in what I pin! So there you go!

Here are a few of my faves from that board at the moment -

A great tutorial for this sweet pencil case from the gorgeous Aussie blog A Spoonful of Sugar. I made one of these but I haven't photographed it yet - I will share soon!

Got a Star Wars fan in your family? Make them a Chewbacca softie with this tutorial from Draw Pilgrim!

This iphone cover has been on my to-do list for ages - I am just waiting for the right fabric! How perfect is that fussy cut Sherbert Pips print? This tutorial can be found at the lovely blog During Quiet Time.

And finally, how beautiful is this little Woodland Fox softie? You can purchase the PDF pattern from the gorgeous shop Gingermelon on Etsy. I think I will be buying a few of the patterns from that shop - they are all adorable!

There is lots of talk about Pinterest and copyright buzzing around the interwebs at the moment. Personally, I am happy for people to pin my projects from this blog. I try to be a responsible pinner though - I always try to find my way back to the source of the pin and check out the project or item from the original source. It's a great way to find new crafty people and fun new sites and blogs. You should try it!

Happy (responsible) pinning! I would love for you to follow me, and leave a comment here with your Pinterest link so I can follow you too!

  4. Cool project round-up! Yes, pinning is awesome if you pin from the original source. I'm guilty of blindly repinning at times, but I'm trying harder now to give credit where credit's due. Cool post, Ros.

  5. Thank you dear Ros for featuring my Woodland Fox pattern, that was very sweet of you! I must admit that I too am guilty of pinning blindly - I didn't realize there might be copyright issues with some of the pics. Will have to take make sure I check from now on:)
