The difference this time is that I reduced the pattern to 75%, as I liked the shape but wanted something a bit smaller to take my lunch to work.
It is such a perfect size! For the last couple of weeks it's actually replaced my usual handbag, I've been stashing everything in this and using it every day - hence all the wrinkles around the handles!
The fabric is called Flapper e Pattern by Koko Seki (not sure if that's the exact name but that's what is on the selvedge) and I bought it from Miss Matatabi on etsy earlier this year. I lined it with a dusky pink coloured homespun. I didn't have quite enough so I pieced it together, but you can't tell. I was sneaky with my piecing! I didn't want to buy anything for this project because it was originally just meant to carry my lunch. Instead of interfacing I used cotton batting, just because that is what I had on hand.
If you want to check out the first Big Tote Bag I made you can see it here, and you can get the Big Tote Bag pattern here.
Best lunch bag EVER!
